Exploring Linux-based IT topics broadly, with a particular emphasis on Data Science

Welcome

to my space dedicated to exploring the boundless potential of Linux-based IT topics, where we delve into everything from command-line fundamentals and advanced containerization to self-hosting databases, web servers, and beyond. The goal is to show how these innovations serve as the backbone of cutting-edge Data Science.

Together, we’ll harness the power of open-source tools on Linux to transform raw data into actionable insights, discovering the stability and flexibility that Data Scientists need to thrive. By broadening your Linux skill set, you open the door to groundbreaking Data Science applications and collaborations that will shape the future of technology.

I am Nejat Hakan, and I’m very interested in self-hosting solutions for databases and web servers. Professionally, I have worked on numerous projects for well-known companies in the field of performance and functional testing, using the Selenium WebDriver framework in Java, C#, and Python. For medium-sized companies, I develop solutions for process automation.

My motivation clearly lies in the back-end domain. With this website, I would like to build a kind of knowledge base in the form of how-to guides and tutorials—mainly for my own reference—so everything I need is in one place. If it also happens to help you, then that would be a pleasure for me.
