Engineering Philosophy & Background

I am Nejat Hakan, a backend-focused systems engineer with a strong passion for sovereign infrastructure, Linux server administration, database internals, and network security.

Professionally, I have architected and delivered extensive enterprise projects in performance engineering, functional test automation (large-scale test frameworks across Java, C#, and Python with Selenium WebDriver), and business process automation for medium-sized organizations.

Why This Platform Exists

In an era increasingly dominated by opaque cloud silos, vendor lock-in, and telemetry, digital sovereignty has become more essential than ever. This documentation platform serves as an open, reproducible engineering reference covering:

  • Deterministic Systems: Hardened Linux kernel configurations, systemd orchestration, and rootless container virtualization.
  • Sovereign Self-Hosting: Self-contained productivity stacks, encrypted communications, and zero-knowledge offsite backup systems.
  • Data & Systems Programming: High-throughput data analysis with Python/Pandas, low-level tooling in Rust, and relational database tuning.

Every guide documented here is tested inside isolated virtual lab environments—primarily Debian Linux—to ensure strict reproducibility.

All guides, configurations, and code snippets on this site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Any actions you take based on this documentation are strictly at your own risk.
